Steeplechase Letterbox

Directions: Take the Broadway/70S exit (Exit #209??)
from I40. Turn left at the light onto Broadway which
eventually turns into West End. Travel over 4 miles
and then turn left on Belle Meade Boulevard. Drive to
the end until you enter the Percy Warner Park.

Difficulty: About 30 minutes total of lots of stairs
and partly steep trail.

Clues: Start at the flagpole and start the trek up
all those stairs. Pass by the "Earthman" and the
other two above him. Enjoy the view!! Cross the road
and continue up to the "T" where you turn right.
Descend the 4 log stairs and then cross the road
again. Continue down the trail to greet the "Brandts"
on your left. Continue further down the trail and go
down 2 branch stairs. Stop where the tree is divided
in 2 on either side of the trail. Behind the bark of
the hole on the tree half on the right eagerly awaits
the STEEPLECHASE letterbox. Please replace the bark
so others will not see this box.

There is no need to go off trail to reach this box.
